2025 EVENT INFO
Dee Smith, a lifetime Ogden resident and Weber County leader, was a proponent of keeping our community safe. As a former county prosecutor, leader, mentor, and teacher, Dee was a diligent civil leader to local law enforcement officers.
Prior to passing away in June 2021, Dee was passionate about being active and loved biking, running, hiking, and any outdoor activity. He lived life to the fullest by living "his dash."
This charity race is to honor his memory and support Dee’s passions. Over the last three years, over $80,000 in race proceeds and donations have provided scholarships to Weber State University's Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice programs. Donations are tax deductible.
